Fast service, good food and amazing atmosphere. Its so calm and good If I could eat it every day I would, fun fact did you know they reported to sold out 2 pigs in one day. Its that good
Still the best Babi Guling in Bali wih natural Bali spice and the soup with banana stem. Prices are reasonable.
Rounded up to 5 One of the best local babi guling area. No tourist trap, no instagram frenzy, just simple, delicious babi guling. Just order how many portion you need. It comes with a plate of babi guling, soup, and you can order additional drink. The last time I visited (early July 2025) it felt less spicy, maybe I have developed some kind of superpower because chili is usually my kryptonite. A small parking area for cars and motorcycle. Open early at 7.30. We always bring our friends here and they all like it.
The legendary "Babi Guling" in penatih. The taste so delicious and the soup make a good combination for the whole food. The soup made from banana trunk tree (in Balinese it called ARES )
The Star of the Show - Babi Guling The roast pork arrives on a separate platter, perfectly crisped to golden-brown perfection. Each bite offers the quintessential crunch of the crackling followed by tender, flavorful meat. The seasoning—an aromatic blend of spices—is well-balanced, giving the pork a fragrant kick without overwhelming its natural flavor. The place is humble but it’s an experience. The portion size is generous, ensuring you leave fully satisfied. The separate serving of the pork is a thoughtful touch, allowing you to appreciate its quality and preparation. Whether you’re new to Babi Guling or a seasoned fan, this rendition will leave you impressed. Yummy!
One of the babi guling that I personally like it, been here for years Babi Guling, the pork and sauce very tasty. Lawar also delicious, urutan/sausage i find it tasty and the soup more flavourful than other babi guling soup. Others topping just passable. Portion is inconsistent, Tip for the portion, if the owner likes you, you probably get bigger portion. Taste sometimes inconsistent, it makes you wonder if they change the recipe. Services don’t expect too much, sometimes you get a nice treatment sometimes the opposite. Overall, price for babi guling is standard, portion is highly inconsistent, taste is also inconsistent but I still like it. Came back here because the food is good, no other else. Personal rating for the taste of this babi guling 9.5/10
Same taste since 25 years ago. Authentic Babi Guling with affordable price.
I found their roasted pork tasteful. But the best for me is their “lawar” which is chopped vegetables with grated coconut and soup which is basically pork broth but in this case it is topped with the fine sliced of the banana tree core.
